Baby Birds

Ah, those baby birds!
Fledglings (birds just out of the nest) will spend some time on the ground, strengthening wings and muscles before they can fly. Parents will be nearby, watching over and feeding their young throughout this time.

If it is safe for the bird and its parents are around, leave the bird where you found it.
