Need a gift idea?
Looking for a gift that’s meaningful without giving “Stuff”? Surprise a colleague, friend, child or family member with a charitable Donation Certificate in their name.
How it works
You make a donation (any denomination from $5) to NZBRCT. Give us the name of the recipient you will be giving the Donation Certificate to, and we’ll personalize it with both of your names.
We’ll email to you (as a high-resolution A4 PDF file) so you can decide whether to print it and give it to them personally, or email it – it’s that easy!

What does it look like?
The certificates feature a large full color photo of a bird (or bird related) image, includes the value of the donation, a unique certificate number, and the name of the person or organisation the donation is being gifted in honour of – suitable for being printed in A4 colour, or sent as an email.
We have a range of both Christmas themed certificate designs, as well as a set of more versatile year-round designs – so you can personalize the certificate with a picture of your (or the person receiving the gifts) favourite bird.
Where does my donation go?
100% of your donation goes to New Zealand Bird Rescue Charitable Trust. Our work relies entirely on the generosity of our supporters.
What next?
If you wish to obtain a donation certificate, you will first need to make a donation. This can be done a number of ways – please see our donation page for more details.
Once you have made a donation of $5 or more, then email us at info@birdrescue.org.nz, with details of your donation including:
- Date of donation
- Value of donation
- Method of donation (Givealittle, bank deposit, cheque, cash at center etc.)
- Your name
- The name of the person you are giving the certificate to
- The design you would like (please include the design series e.g. Christmas or year round designs, along with the number of the design)
- And once we have verified that the donation has been received, we will email you the personalized donation certificate.
